Provide comprehensive and evidence-based care to members in a primary care setting.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Aetna's policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Assess and manage acute and chronic health conditions in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Educate members on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care techniques.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for members.
Conduct thorough and accurate physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on assessment findings.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters and interventions.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice in accordance with nursing standards and state regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing best practices.
Communicate effectively with members, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.
Stay current with industry developments, trends, and best practices related to primary care.
Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
